Your best interests are the priority of everyone who works with us
In a modern world of big business and corporate companies it is sometimes difficult to maintain the personal touch and give the service that was once expected from everyone. Alfred Smith Funeral Directors try to preserve that standard that was set by our predecessors. To that end, our staff are all local residents who know the local traditions and are familiar with the Southwark, London Churches and Clergy. It helps us to help you when you are arranging a funeral service for someone special and who is dear to you.
Samantha has been with Alfred Smith Funeral Directors since 2016, having previously worked a duty manager at Iceland Foods.
She says ‘What I enjoy most about my role is the overwhelming, warm feeling of pride when I have exceeded our expectations, and more importantly, our families expectations, along with the relationships I maintain with a majority of the families I have looked after throughout their loved ones final journey.’
She was a contestant on the gameshow “Golden Balls” and also made an appearance in the Kings College 24hrs in A & E television programme.
Her hobbies include Karaoke, Bingo, Swimming, and fun days out with her family. Her biggest achievements are her children and having a book published when she was just 12 years old.
Jackie has been with Alfred Smith Funeral Directors since 2014, having previously worked as a florist.
She feels her previous role has helped her in her current position and enjoys looking after families at their time of need. Ensuring peoples loved ones get the send-off that the they truly deserve. Nothing is too much or too little for my clients/families.
In her spare time she enjoys the odd game of bingo, going out for a meal & cinema but most of all she just loves being with her grandchildren.
